Maxx Brief Background

After being elected as the youngest AFM church band member (age 9), Maxx (born Tsumbedzo Oscar Machaba) has continuously baptized the people with his music from church to schools, tertiary’s, bashes, clubs, parties and weddings. With experience as hip hop mc (rapper), singer in choirs, Jazz band keyboard and bass player, Club, bashes and parties Dj’ying, he may as well be titled the music bishop of the people.

“ I started producing in 2002 after seeing the lack of the music industry’s locally produced house and hip hop jams”. Maxx, believes in non-stop learning and growing in both art and business of the music, so he founded Maxxrated Music Entertainment with the support of the Last borns.

“ God has given us the seed and support , we are responsible for growth and being continuously productive”, he says. Maxx has been blessed to offer two successful self-composed and well received house albums, titled “ House of God” and “ House Bombing”, released by independent record label, Maxxrated Music Entertainment.

» A bit of background on your Music career: I noticed it when I started playing keyboard for AFM church band at age 10. Been writing and performing Rap at age 14. pulled out my luck in comedy at 16 but stopped. There’s millions of stories in between but to summarize it : “music and God never fail me, not even in a contest”.

» The best thing about being a musician : Seeing people dancing, singing along and truly enjoying your vibes and tunes.

» What qualities do you admire most in a person? down to earth, patience, love, honor, self-respect, and beauty within…. I admire Godliness on the imperfect and sinful person.
